San Juan Brewfest

This event will be held on August 25, 2018 in Buckley Park in Historic Downtown Durango. This year will mark the 20th anniversary for the San Juan Brewfest! The festival features great music on the stage, delicious local food, and a major beer competition.  In 2017, 50 awesome breweries shared their creations in Buckley Park. Some say this is one of the most fun events in Durango all year (and Durango is a fun place!). Volunteers receive free entry into the event. Tickets go on sale June 1 and are available at sanjuanbrewfest.org. Thanks to our title sponsor, Chevron!

FARM TO TABLE DINNER AND WINE PAIRING

This event was in partnership with The Farm Bisto in Cortez for a locally-sourced, four-course dinner prepared by Chef Elliott. Each course was thoughtfully paired with a wine from Talon Wines, and a rep will be present to help our guests learn about the wines chosen for the pairings. We also had a wine pull for a chance to take some wine home! This event benefits the United Way's initiatives and partners in Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Check back next summer for the 2019 event!

Day of Action

Periodically we will declare a "Day of Action" in one of our community impact areas:  health, education, and self-reliance.  Recently, we held a Day of Action for health, where participants made one-day health pledges to increase healthy behaviors.  Be on the lookout for more Days of Action to come!
